Any of you used this polish?

When I asked my pro shop guy what type of polish he uses he told me to go buy Finesse-it II.  It is a car polish made by 3M.  I bought it since it is cheaper than all the other ball polishes and he said it is basically the same anyway.  I have been using it for almost a year now and it seems to be working fine, it seems to hold up pretty well and it puts a nice shine on the ball while making it slide farther down the lane and not take any hook away.  Have anyone else used this and if so, what were your opinions of it compared to other ball polishes.

I think others have used Finesse-it as well, even some of the ball companies.  Just make sure you get something with no wax in it (you'll know if you do), 3M's rubbing compounds are popular for ball finishes.

I resurface bowling balls for over 20 years and been using Finesse II for the same time works excellent on all types of balls, Gives a great shine for extra length and balls hit extremely hard.

IIRC, Columbia used Finesse-It II on their reactive pearls until they introduced the Degree system back in the mid-to-late 1990s.

I use Finesse-It II on rubber, plastic, urethane, and weaker reactive balls.  As for stronger reactives and particles, I try to stick to the manufacturer's recommendation.

I've used Finesse-It II for quite some time. I used to sand a ball to 400 Grit with a Scotchbrite Pad and polish to the prefered shine with Finesse-It II.  I have since gone to sanding the ball to 500 Grit Abralon Pad and polish to the prefered shine with Finesse-It II.

Anybody ever read the MSDS sheet on Finesse IT II?

Doubt any of you are using the correct PPE to protect yourselves from skin contact.  NFPA 2-health 1-fire hazard, 0-reactivity.  

Think again before using these products folks.  Use the correct PPE and think.

Go for it Bowling 300 900.  Nothing wrong with stating the obvious although most don't even think about the consequences.  

Friend of mine recently died from usage of acetone <no PPE> turning ferrules over many years on finishing golf clubs.  Pancreatic cancer.  Lovely way to go.  

Do as you wish just think about it a bit.  Nothing wrong with stating an issue.
