Does anyone know why Neo-Tac discontinued their Kahameleon (Sp) ball cleaner? I thought that was one of the best cleaners on the market. I’ve still got a bottle left so last night I conducted a little side by side comparison with some of the newer ones out there.
I cleaned one half of my Rival with Kahameleon and the other half with Resurrection. Kahameleon won hands down. The white cotton cloth turned black with the lane oil and grit from the ball. It also left the ball without any residue like the Resurrection does. On the side that I used the Resurrection the ball looked clean but the cloth didn’t have a lot of grime on it.
I then compared Kahameleon with one of their own products Liquid Nitro and then again with Ultimate Black Magic Rejuvenator. I conducted the same tests like above using my Momentum and Resurgence and got the same findings. The Kahameleon won hands down.
So does anyone know where I might possibly still buy this?

I got the reply from the company:
We replaced The KBC with Liquid Sandpaper. They are both the same product.
Question answered.

I just checked the USBC approved list and both can be used, but the Khameleon only before or after not during competition, whereas the Liquid Sandpaper can be used during competition. But, that wasn’t the point I was trying to make. I was stating that the Khameleon was a better cleaner and it didn’t leave a residue behind when compared to the Resurrection cleaner. I remember using the Liquid Sandpaper and I thought it also left a residue behind. Guess I’ll try it again and see.

Ofcourse Resurrection leaves a residue. It is an abrasive cleaner.
It is not a daily cleaner, but one to use for a deep clean now and than.
On edit. I saw that Khameleon is an abrasive also. I don't understand that you don't have any residue with it.

Resurrection and Liquid Sandpaper are not cleaners. They are meant for different purposes. They both are meant to abrade the surface.
Resurrection is will also clean the ball, but as far as I know that is not its main purpose. See http://www.valentinobowling.com/resurrection.html. It is technically a surface refresher and restorer, bringing the surface to 800 grit + a light shine. Remedy is their cleaner. Neo-Tac's cleaner is Liquid Nitro. Neo-Tac's Renew-it is a cleaner AND a polisher.
I don't know what grit level Liquid Sandpaper is supposed to bring a ball to. Using either of them daily is overkill, as well as messy.
