Dead Mans Curve
« on: April 30, 2009, 04:07:25 AM »
Have a tournament coming up in a month. Was wondering if anyone has ever bowled on the "Dead Mans Curve" pattern by Kegel. That is what the condition will be and I was wonder how to play the lanes accordingly.

go to kegel.net and you can look up lane patterns. they give a quick description of it there.

Played this pattern once. started out with resurgence with 5½" pin above fingers at 2000 abralon about 4th arrow to break arround 10-11. just moved in as the game progressed. switched to a momentum with 2000 abralon drilled 4 3/4 pin under arround game 3. in game 4-5 swithed to another momentum with box surface drilled 5½ same layout as resurgence. and starting game 6 with wrath dead flush at 4000 abralon 5½" same layout as the others. but the main thing is just move left. normally pretty fast the first 2 games then a couple of boards here and there the last 4 games. played 24 games over 3 days in a turnement on this pattern. 6 thursday and friday and 12 on sunday. with average of 216
