« on: September 09, 2006, 02:03:00 PM »
I have been resurfacing balls for a few years now and getting pretty good at it,I use 3M Finesse It II and just can seem to get that good sheen look.

any other suggestions to get a good glaze and more length???

Ebonite Factory finish polish is really great stuff. It is all that I use now and it goes on easy and shines very nicely.

My suggestion would be to use more water and pressure, finesse-it usually shines up preety well.

Brunswicks Factory Finish Polish is great as well as Tracks Magic Shine.

On a side note, for great results after resurfacing...leave the ball at 220-320 grit and then apply Rough Buff. It will take most of the sanding lines out and finish the cover at around 1000-1200 grit with a sheen finish. If you prefer a high gloss, then add a coat of the Factory Finish on top.
