According to label, Royal Compound will create a 2500 grit surface. How does Rough Buff compare if both balls were sanded to 500 grit prior to application as per Brunswick normal procedure? THX in advance.

the rough buff is more of a matte finish. i would think its in the range of 800-1200 grit. shiny/dull depends on application.

Just from personal experience so far the royal compound definitely gives a more polished finish. Its strongstuff.

Whereas I found little to no difference between them, but that was on just one ball.
