Can the cleaners/polishers be applied by hand?
« on: November 25, 2004, 07:42:42 AM »
Is it possible to use cleaner/polishers by hand (without a ball spinner)?

I would like to use Clean N' Smooth, Clean N' Polish, and Magic Shine; however, I don't have a spinner so I'm hesitant to buy them. Any input, comments, or suggestions are greatly welcome. Thanks!

Ya, that's what I thought because for Track's Clean N' Sheen, it says it's most effective when applied by spinner.  I guess I can try asking my proshop operator if I can use his.  Thanks for the advice!

Most polish/cleaners can be applied by hand but you do not see the same benefits as if they where applied on a spinner. I would highly suggest you invest in a spinner. They are very nice to have and well worth the money..

The only time I'll be able to afford a spinner is when I visit the USA.  Bowling ball products are quite expensive up here in Canada, and if I order online from the USA and have it shipped here, there will be a lot of custom's duties to pay...

As long as the polishes work well enough if applied by hand, I'm sure I can wait a bit to buy a spinner.  I will definitely get a spinner when a chance arises...thanks for your input!

theres only been a couple ive seen that say spinner only, or most effective by spinner.

most say affective applied by spinner or hand.

i coudl onyl see polishes have to be used on a spinner.

Storm reacta shine, cleans and puts ur ball at 1500. I use it all the time(by hand) and my rip which is so old has never got dull. Also my prostock which i use all the time now never gets dull, and my friends that just uses simple green is dull all the time.

If you can find or order any of the Neo-Tac products, give them a whirl.  They are very easy to use without a spinner.

So again, what Strider said.

Strider, seadrive, and Brickguy221 got it....

The NeoTac products are as good as it gets for application by hand.
