Cleaning oil off a ball

So, those of you who put your ball in an oil extractor, when the ball comes out with oil on it what do you use to clean that oil off ? Or do you just use a paper towel or rag ?

Paper towel, rag or whatever useful at the time. Usually its something I plan on throwing away!

I spray some ball cleaner on a paper towel and keep using that until it gets too oily, then replace it with a new one.

Hi All - I just received my "NewBall" rejuvenator.  A couple of questions.  (1) Do you have one and do you like it? (2) When i worked in a ProShop the JayHawk Rejuvenator would be set at 115* for an hour.  NuBall suggests 135* for an hour.  Any thoughts?  (3)  Any recommendations?  Thank you - Coach Denny

I have a Nuball Oven. I do like the Nuball Oven. I set mine to the 135. I check it every 1/2 hour to an hour to wipe off the oil and then put it back in. I know some bowling ball companies void their warranties if you go to high in temperature.

I set my NuBall unit at 125 degrees which is Motiv's warranty limit and keep the ball in for 90 minutes. I have not seen any damage to the inserts at that length of time. I have had my Rejuvenator for about 6 years and like it a lot.
