Hi a friend of mine has a Haus unit and does most of the resurfacing for the bowlers in my area (Shropshire UK)
We were talking about polishes and I asked him what he uses and he said usually black magic, but its expensive as he can only get the small bottles and he gets through quite a bit.
He said he'd tried to get the quart size, but as we live in the UK they are almost non existant and to ship them from the USA would not make it worth his while.
I told him that a lot of you bowlers swear by Finness-IT from 3M and he could get that in large containers so making it cost effective.
He was a little worried as it is an automotive polish and didnt want to take a chance on it in case it was damaging to the ball or lanes.
I thought Id do this post so that you could point him and me in the right direction.
Would you be so kind as to state what you think are the pluses and minuses of the product and any other ideas as to solutions to this query.

Finesse it is great for reactive resin coverstocks. In fact back when Columbia first put out the Pirhana and all the way until they released the Surge there was actually a writing on the drill sheet that said "Buff with Finesse It". So it is definately safe. I have used it for years. It does tend to make particle covers react more like a reactive. I makes the ball grab the dry, and squirt until it finds it.

Many pro shops around here still use it because it pretty much does the same thing as Black Magic.

I was also told by another friend that he thinks the pro shop that he used to use uses Finess-it for a lot of their resurfaces.
My friend can get an idea of if it will be of benifit to him.
