You may say that Chris Moyer's actions do not speak for you and your pro shop, but unfortunately in the retail business every working member of the "ship" carries the bearing of the flag equally. I'd equate it to walking into a best buy audio section and getting treated like crap. It becomes less of what was said between the two parties, and more of how "Best Buy audio technicians and Best Buy sucks as a whole". I don't know the working functions of your shop and it's none of my business, I can only assume that you're doing very well, but it's amazing how much publicity just a name can draw in a public forum. I get calls and walk ins all the time based on people that have seen my posts or read my reviews on here and for those new long term customers I've made off of this site I'm grateful for. Maybe Chris should just think for every post you make there could be someone lurking and saying "Wow, this is how these guys are, I'm not giving them my business." It's a two way street.
Just like I tell the guys on the college team I coach, everything you do while wearing your title as college bowler for your university carries the name of your team, school establishment, and many good people on your shoulders. Do not mess it up. Hopefully the negatives won't affect you too bad, if at all.
