Title: coverstock of Track Arsenal Angular Particle
Post by: handy zone on September 28, 2007, 11:10:09 PM
I need to resurface this ball and cant find the original coverstock on tracks website. Somebody took sandpaper to the cover and destroyed the paticles. I had lost all hooking ablilities. Any suggestions on how to bring it back. I`m going to try clean and dull with a green scotchbrite pad to clean it. Use a rejunivator to remove some oil. I think this ball had a little polish, particle polish.  Any help appreciated.  Mike

The stock finish is Clean and Sheen, a compound finish.  I don't know what the starting grit is for that ball, though.

The standard Rough Buff finish should be fairly close, you could try that.  Sand to 220-grit, then RB.
