Cross-hatch: How do you get this using a spinner
« on: March 08, 2010, 06:51:23 AM »
What's the right technique for putting a cross-hatch pattern on the ball using a spinner?  I see cross-hatch mentioned quite a bit in topics on ball finishes, but I'm not sure how to do it using my spinner.  Thanks.

By sanding all four sides of the ball equally.

I believe you obtain a "cross-hatch" pattern by sanding 4 sides.
