Title: Cuda/C coverstock?
Post by: vilecanards on July 27, 2009, 04:56:47 AM
Does anyone know whether this old coverstock absorbs oil like the newer reactive coverstocks?  I plan on converting one to a DRY lane ball, but the reason I'm curious is that I left one in my car all day and didn't see any oil sweating out.  What is this coverstock?  Thanks for any info....

Cuda/C

Color Maroon
Veneer Reactive
Surface Matte
Core 2-Piece

So... would this be a good candidate for a DRY lane ball?  What would be the best way to set up the coverstock... 4000 abralon, then polish?  One tourney I go to every year, the Southeastern, is notorious for dry conditions, and I want to set up one piece specifically for this tournament.  All the newer stuff I have is way too strong, even the shiny stuff that I have a weak drill set-up on.  I'm just wondering if this could be used instead of buying one of the new urethane pieces?
