Actually, axis tilt has much more affect on ball roll than does track location. Low axis tilt tracks roll earlier and tend to be more "arcy" while high axis tilt tracks break later and are "snappier". The true spinner track (very high axis tilt) can go so long that it never enters the roll phase, and breaks very little. And a low track does not necessarily mean high axis tilt. Of course, this is a very generalized analysis, axis rotation, rev rate, speed, lane conditions, layout, etc. all also affect ball motion. -- JohnP
