Title: Do you have to worry about storage temperatures...
Post by: JessN16 on May 02, 2008, 05:57:44 PM
...for Abralon pads?

I have an outside storage building that is not temperature-controlled, and I live in central Alabama, so it's going to get hot. But I'm about to start buying pads in bulk and it makes more sense to keep the stuff outside.

Basically, will Abralon melt? (g)

No, they'll be fine. What I would suggest, go to Wal Mart, K Mart, Payless, see if they'll save you those little bags that come in the shoes, those, i can't remember what's in them, that keeps moisture out of the shoes, put a few in the boxes of pads. That way your pads won't get mold on them from the changing humidity. I'm in Az, I kept some in an outside storage room and never had any problems.

During our rainy season I used those bags to keep humidity (changes) from causing any mold to build in the pads, just in case.
