just curious what people like best. I'm sure people use both for different reactions but even those people must have a favorite.
-
My current favorite finish is a grey pad followed by either a light or heavy coating of Legends polish.

Due to my rev rate I will say highly highly polished even in a flood I will use something at 4000 no polish so I can clear the heads and help it turn the corner a bit

The ONLY thing that actually destroys the pins is a STORM!!
-
I don't use polished equipment very often. I prefer about a 2000 abralon finish. However, I am using my Awesome Revs in the box finish and I keep my Spit Fire at the box finish for whenever I need something polished.
-
We have stopped using polishes mostly and use only abralon now. Occasionally the WD or T zone get a good shine but that's about it.

i like the polish, than a light hit with 1000 abralon
-
Both, but more and more going with the abralon. If I'm bowling on super dry, which isn't very often, I still like some polish.

i use it as the lane condition dictates. i do like the reaction from balls that are finished with a 2,000 or 4,000 grit abralon pad though.
-
I usually use 1500-2000 grit abralon

I like my coffee black, just like my metal.

I think a good question at this point and answered by one poster above.
Are you rev dominant, speed dominant, or blended.
I believe a big part of the answer ties to that and the conditions they bowl on.

Open the door...see what's possible...and just walk right on through...that's how easy success feels..

Depends upon what you're bowling on...and how your physical game is, at that particular time.
What part of the lane you are attempting to play?
For a period of time, I was used Lanemasters particles, at 600-800 grit.
Depending upon the time of day I was bowling, I would either put a coat of Bean's Magic Sauce on the ball, or use the ball w/o polish.
I like to experiemnt.
