Magic Coverstock
« on: February 25, 2009, 09:59:02 AM »
Does anyone know anything about the coverstock on the Magic?  I hear that it doesn't absorb alot of oil and doesn't use this "method" to help the ball hook.. yet the ball still is very good on heavy oil.. or so I hear..
I have read that the oil pools on the surface.

16 LBS in Ebonite is always weaker rolling than 15 lber's, so I will decline to comment on this one.

When I used both weights it was apparent in Ebonite balls the 16 lber's rolled way more, with Morich balls never saw this happen.

J,

Drill this 4 x 4 and you will never look back. This thing is money, I pot bowl on Sundays, and since I got it has paid for me bowing 10+ games  each week. I shot my biggest series of my career (776) with it on one lane and the Hot Sauce Pearl on the other lane. And the best thing about it is this, I have 70+ games on it right now, and it looks like its brand new, no dings, nothing, and has never been resurfaced. I only clean it after every shot and after I am done bowling and put it in the bag. Its an amazing ball, and believe me check my profile. I have bought and sold nearly every ball that has came and gone in the last year!

Hmm..Lets see what I have in this bag...some magic, some hot sauce, and a saw.. how can I loose?

thanks for the info.. The Magic is definately looking very promising from what I hear. Just got a heavy oil that seems to be working pretty well for all conditions so I can't justify a new ball just yet.. maybe I'll pick up a magic when the price comes down a little.
