Anybody ever use these 2 polishes? What is your overall opinion?
1.) Storm's "Xtra Shine" is suppose to take a ball to 3500 polished.
2.) Track's "Clean 'N Polish" is suppose to take a ball to 5000 polished.
I know that when you use Black Magic on a ball, that it DOESN'T change the grit of a ball... it just adds polish to the ball.
But when you use a polish like Finesse-It II or whatever to a ball, they say that it DOES change the grit of a ball when you apply it to a ball... so what does that mean?
For instance - Does it mean if you take a ball that's sanded to 1000 grit, does the polish take it up to like 3000 grit sanded, but with polish on top of it? I really dodn't understand what it means, or does. If it changes the grit, how does that effect the hooking ability and backending ability?
What does it mean to say that a polish changes the grit of a ball when applied to the ball?
I'm confused.
Thanks!
