Ebonite Hook Again HELP PLEASE!!!!
« on: March 05, 2006, 05:27:19 AM »
I have just receieved the Hook Again. It says to place the ball inserts down. Should I also Tape up the inserts and thumb? Is this stuff a powder or liquid?
My wife is pregnant so is there any fumes from this?Is it safe to do indoors or should I do it outside? Does anyone have any special tips to make sure this works as well as possible? I have league tomorrow night so I want to do this shortly. Is 24hrs enough time for this?
Thanks a lot!!!

Is this stuff a powder or liquid? I got to ask why didnt you just look in the bottle? its powder like, as far as fumes I didnt notice any. 24hrs will work.
Didnt you get any instructions in the kit?

CPR has a bag, no chamber. It's a powder, no cleaners with it, but works the same way. Small particles absorb the oil from the ball. Which is better ?

I'd guess it'd be more personal preference than anything else.
Hope that helped.

No fumes. We do it right in our shop. Your wife dosnt have to worry. You do not have to cover the holes, you will just have to clean out the crap from inside them, but thats not difficult to do. 24 hrs is the minimum to get preformance back, but more is better.

U probably arent equiped to do this, but to get the best results, you ball should be sanded to 100 grit, or 220 grit sandpaper because it takes the oil off the surface and opens the pores for the product to absorb better.
