Hey everyone. I came across a used Columbia Rock-Star. I'm excited to try this ball out, as it is one of the first Columbia particle balls I have ever owned AND as opposed to most balls, it was actually designed for control and wet dry conditions. Anyhow, the ball is in overall decent shape (nothing a good resurfacing can't take care of), but I believe the ball has had quite a few games thrown with it. Although I have never experienced "Tec-Death" first hand, I have read many stories posted here about it. When I first received the ball, I sanded it down to 320 and placed it in the rejuvenator. Surprisingly, no oil came out of the ball...although the surface of the ball does feel oily. I cleaned it with a mild degreaser, but still feels oily. Are there any other ways to help bring back some of the life in this ball? I have used Neo-Tac Hook-It with some success before, but tend to shy away from it as it melts finger grips and anything else in its way!
I'm planning on continuing with the full resurface (polishing to remove broken particles), then finishing to desired grit.
Ideas are appreciated.

Alright.. ESPN has conformed what we have thought all along... Bowling is a low degree of difficulty sport, requiring little to no athleticism. On the bright side, we did beat out shooting, billards and fishing!
