J_w73,
It's possible that the Track bottle you have is old. I have and am currently using my last bottle of Track DR. I also have a bottle of Powerhouse DR, ordered a couple of months ago. I just went down to my workshop, looked them over carefully and shook them both a lot to insure they were mixed up properly.
Both appear identical in consistency and color (a sickly bark pale blue or light bluish-purple. I'm not a woman. I don't have a fancy name for this ugly color.) and both seem to have that grape aroma. The Track one is labeled as having a grape aroma. I have used the Track one on a couple of balls recently and it definitely works. I can only assume the Powerhouse one will also work.
For whatever it's worth,
The name, APP, Applied Polishing Products, as the manufacturer, no
longer appears on either the Track, nor the Powerhouse label. It used to be on the back. I do not know if they sold the formula to Ebonite. APP had made these products for Track up until the sale of Columbia to Ebonite. I do not know if APP has the same relationship with Ebonite, as they did with Track.
Many polishing products change consistency over time. I specifically remembering some Clean and Dull bottles becoming very watery several years ago, but they still worked fine. Normal C&D is a gel.
J_w73,
All I can suggest is to shake that bottle of Track DR very well and hard. Then try it on one ball and see if it adds length AND reduces the backend. If it does, fine. Use it until empty. If not, throw it away and use the Powerhouse bottle.
