Title: Grip Glue on Coverstock

Can this be removed in any manner? I am not talking just around the fingers area only.

Acetone a q-tip or cotton swab.

If you somehow managed to get it over a larger area you could knife it down as you would plug and then sand the knife marks out.

They also make a glue remover that you can get at hobby shops.  Probably not worth it to buy just for one ball.
