grit before polish
« on: February 09, 2010, 06:33:49 AM »
I have an Orbit Extreme Sky blue that was a little to skid/snap for my taste. I have a spinner. I took the ball to 500 abralon and then added 2 coats of Control It. I hope to keep the in box length while making the backend more of an arc than a snap. What do you think?
Thanx.

500 Abralon is pretty darned rough under any amount of polish. Hope you have a good deal of ball speed. It is a solid. It should provide a decent amount of midlane burn up, to control the backend, even with Control-IT.

Did you wait a necessary time after applying the first coat of Control-It before applying the 2nd? I forget what it is, but it's important to the process.
