yet another ABRALON question...

Hello Group
 Why in the world do ABRALON pads cost so much?? looks like I'll be trying out some different grits of wet/dry emery paper

because they last a LOT longer than sand paper, they absorb water so you dont need to re apply it every 2 seconds and they dont give that streakey almost etched look on the surface.

Just stick to wet/dry sandpaper (aluminum oxide) or ScotchBrite...
Emery paper isn't something I'd recommend for ball resurfacing.

Because they are really meant for automotive (painting and refinishing) and industrial use - like monstercrank said, they last longer and give a better finished look than sandpaper.
