Haus finish
« on: October 29, 2017, 01:25:23 PM »
The one shop I bought a ball at has 1 free refinishing on a Haus machine included with the purchase. It's a Radical Guru Supreme. Noticed when I picked it up that is was rough feeling with a lot of swirl marks. Never had one done on a Haus before and was wondering if that's how it should be ?

Depends on just exactly what they meant by one free refinishing.

The finished surface should have been whatever you wanted it to be. (OOB or whatever). If it's rough feeling and you see swirls, sounds like they just hit it with the diamond wheels  and most likely didn't finish it.

I assumed it would be 500-1500 box finish. Guess I shouldn't assume. Will have to ask next time I'm up there.

I would take the ball back to them and make them change the ball to whatever the original finish was.
