Haus Resurfacing Machine Help
« on: February 08, 2014, 05:29:13 PM »
I want to see if any of you guys can answer this.  I removed the shipping pin, mounted the motors.  I just didn't hookup the water system yet.  I broke a connection off one of the motors because I tried taking a piece of plastic off.  Once I realized what happened I realized I am supposed to leave that on.  The other 2 motors I connected as the manual stated.  However, when I go to turn the machine on, the wheels don't spin.  I demonstrated that in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oi9M-W761Nc

Does the third motor need to be connected for this to work?

I also can't figure out how to connect the water system but I really could care less if a spray bottle is fine.  I just need a drain bucket underneath.

Those "plastic" things are just male/female connectors.   You can re-place them in about 2 minutes.    Don't know why you bought a new motor.  Honestly you better call Innovative and ask for their help if you don't know how this machine operates.  You spent alot of money on it already.  Innovative will talk you through it.

I'm sure all 3 motors need to be hooked up for any of them to run. They are probably wired in series. You just pulled of the terminal for one of the wires. You can go to Radio Shack, Lowes, Home Depot, or probably even Walmart to get another one. Just strip a little of the wire, crimp on the new terminal and attach all three connectors the same as the other two motors. Everything should work just fine. Hopefully you can return the other motor, especially if you haven't opened it yet. You might have to pay a restocking fee depending on their policy. But, as Bowling 300 900 suggested, contact Innovative to double check to make sure everything is OK since it is an expensive machine. Good luck.

I figured it out.  There's a piece of medal insight a baggie full of grease.  The medal is about 1" long and 1/8" thick.  It goes into the slot in this shaft: https://encrypted-tbn1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQR0Hfqs2QNFrQNimgPluBYqiLk9sFF7DCHq2SkOfI5w5HgnE5A and then lines up with the other one when you mount the motor to the side.

I canceled my motor order.  This machine works great.  I'll post a video on You Tube shortly.
