don't know what a heed heip is so can't help.

I agree. Hot Water bath in a bucket in the sink.
Get the tap super hot preferably the one by your washer and dryer.
Put ball in and fill the bucket to the top. You will start seeing the oil
come out. Let it sit in the bucket for 15 minutes then start over until you don't see anymore oil on top of the water. I would suggest getting the surface redone. Take it down using 500 abralon doing 4 sides and work your way up to 4000 abralon. I hope this helps.

Well.
I sold a few of these and the only thing I can say is scrap it and buy a different ball. Typical Ebonite ball death on the No Mercy.
Just my 2 cents. beans

1)Get a large stew pot or 5 gallon bucket. Anything you can totally submerge the ball in will do.
2)Add dawn dish detergent(make sure it's a degreaser, I'm pretty sure they all are though) to the pot or bucket. I also add some simple green to the mixture.
3)Fill it up with the hottest tap water possible. If you're water doesn't get very hot mix in some boiling water to bump it up a bit.
4)Drop the ball in for about 30 minutes. Everyone has their own amount of time they use but I have always used 30 minutes and had great success. You can throw some tape over the holes or use stoppers if you have them. Personally I don't bother.
5)Take the ball out and run it under that hot tap water for a minute to rinse off the oil and soap.
6)Wipe it down with some alcohol to get rid of any excess residue. And you're done, ball is good as new.
If you are planning on roughing the surface up do it before you soak it. That way any residue from the surface change will be washing off as well. I will throw mine on the spinner and hit it with some scotch brite, do the steps above, and then put it back on the spinner for a coat of beans sauce. Doing this really does work wonders for the reaction of the ball.

At some point, the surface needs to be taken down to attempt to expose the surface of the ball. Ideally, if the hot water bath doesn't seem to be as effective, take the ball down to the lowest grit(500 or under) and slowly work your way back to the desired surface. I did this with my NM and it worked fine although the surface seemed to require just a little more maintenance than this mere mortal was willing to perform. All of these sponges that cut through the oil or hook oof of your hand require you to pay a certain price. Maintenance, for the NM, is that price.

i have had success puuting the ball in the oven.
- set the oven to 125-140 degrees or the lowest it can possibly go.
- set the ball on a baking pain (thumb side down)
- when the oven temp is ready place the ball in
- let it sit for 5- 8 mins
- take it out (U will c the oil rise through the pores of the ball)
- take a towel & wipe off access oil
- wipe the ball with alcohol or prefered cleaner
-then place ball back in oven
Repeat until no oil is seen on the coverstock
* I place a towel between the ball and the pan

I do the same thing and i recently did it to mt beat'n and it worked great. But i get it resurfaced afterwards to get maximum hook out of the ball,

If at first you don't succeed use a bigger ball.

typical ball death,40 or so games and here come the plaque tens.

Take the ball down to 500 grit, then do 20 min. hot water baths till all the oil has come out of the ball. After the ball dries, take the cover up to 1000, then 2000, then finally 4000 grit. You are back to OOB.

Take it to your local pro shop and have them revive and resurface it!!!
