whats the exact steps in the process of giving a ball a hot water bath like time and temp. And im just guessing but im sure you don't submerge the finger tips. also can it cause the ball to crack or become brittle just a question i wasn't sure.

Hot as your tap water can get.
Dawn liquid soap is optional
Submerge entire ball(finger and thumb inserts will be okay)
20 minutes
Remove ball and wipe down
Repeat process(Twice should be all that is needed)
Place ball finger and thumb holes down to let drain and dry overnight
Off to the lanes!

so there wont be a problem with the glue for the finger inserts and the water wont get "stuck" i guess you could say under, in, or around them. so all in all the glue will hold from all the water. also what should i put the ball and water in. what do you guys use.

It won't affect the glue in the inserts. Done it many times and have never had a problem. You could always put some tape over them if you want(unnecessary) but you might have some residue to wipe off when you remove the tape. I use my basement sink, but you can use a bucket that is big enough to hold the ball completely submerged in the water. Good Luck!
