How much do you pay for Abralon pads?

I'm interested to find out how much people pay for Abralon pads in the USA.

From what I can see the costs tend to be relatively high and I am looking into providing Abralon pads to pro shops and bowlers in the USA at a lower cost.

Please post how much you currently pay per pad, incl. discounts for bulk buys and including any packaging and shipping costs etc.

Really.  If you think you got the best price, post it with pride.  Don't wait for an established seller to come here and post his price so you can cut it by a nickel.

Woodcrafters, a local company, has them for $2.50 a piece (which is a fantastic deal-not sure their making much money at that price?), $3.00 when you buy Five or more through gilaz33 mailed to your door, great deal also, when you consider .....the price of gas.

I'm not yet supplying and am looking into the feasibility of doing so.

I have access to Abralon sheets in grits 180, 360, 500, 1000, 2000.
Unfortunately I'm unable to supply 4000 at this time but I am working on it.

Given future speculation on the £-$ exchange rates I'm pretty sure I will be able to supply at the following rates:

Minimum Order 10 pads (any grits/assorted grits)

10-29 pads $2.85 per pad
30-59 pads $2.75 per pad
60+ pads   $2.65 per pad
100+ pads  Negotiable

All prices include FREE SHIPPING anywhere in the USA.

How competitive would these rates be and do pro shop operates reading this feel they would be interested if the lead time was 7 days.

Its really a case of establishing feasibility before I pursue things any further, hence my initial post.

Wow! $2.50 a pad is an excellent price!

And that $3.00 price of gilaz33 is excellent as well. I have generally paid $3.50 of more for assorted pads, at any particular time.

Just my opinion...but I would not switch from gilaz33 to you for just 15 cents a pad. No offense, but gilaz is a proven A+++ quality seller already and 15 cents is not worth switching.

Fair point. Thats why I figure there probably isnt a huge market out there, only for pro shops wishing to order over 60 pads at once who would save 35c per pad, which makes a reasonable saving.

Gilaz seems to have this market fairly covered. The only thing I notice is that he doesnt currently stock 500 or 1000 grit pads... But saying that I cannot currently supply 4000.

that's a good price, I pay $2.21 ea that's why I don't market and resale them, you have to sell a ton to make it worth while.

Kegler, unless that price you quoted is shipped plus any applicable taxes, you will have to add the taxes, plus the packaging and shipping cost to those pads and for an order of 5 pads, I believe that cost is going to be more than $2.50 which would then cause the price of those pads to average $3 or more depending on the packaging and shipping costs vs gilaz33's price of $3.

It sounded like Kegel's price is off-the-shelf from a shop, as he says plus the cost of gas.

My prices quoted above would include postage and packaging, handling, shipping and tax.
