If I want to increase my Black Widows backend reaction should I sand it at a finer grit? Possibly 2000 or 4000?
-
I would assume 4000 polished would give you the sharpest reaction as long as the backends of the lane aren't messy.

It all depends on what your looking for. Me myself have my widow at 2000 dull. Out of box at 4000 was very jumpy. 2000 have me more pick up mid lane and nice amount of backend. Mostly depends on ur style.also depends on what lane condtion ur looking 2 throw it on. If you polish it you will get good backend but only on weaker lanes. Best with surface is trial and error. Then you will know what works for you

What's it at right now skevr? I would go smaller increments up at 1st. clean it & try a little polish on what you have it at now. If it already has polish where it's at, then go up to 2000. Try it. If that's not enough, then add polish to the 2000. That's what I'd suggest before going all the way to 4000.

I find 2000 to be perfect for this ball with me. Whenever I put polish on it, it always missed the break point. I've also heard from many others that the original Widow never really liked polish. 2000 recovers very well on the right conditions. Clearly if the heads are a little burnt or there's some carry down, its not going to jump off the spot.
