Jayhawk Bowling Taxi Sanding Discs
« on: February 05, 2007, 07:26:20 AM »
Just curious if anyone has had experience using these disks. I ordered some 35-Micron Trizact discs for my SCB, and got into a discussion with their customer service about their regular sanding discs. They told me their sanding discs were more like abralon than regular sandpaper, and they offered to send me a few samples. I wasn't sure if this was a marketing ploy, but it couldn't hurt to give them a try.

I tried them on my solid Uranium (400 and then 600), and was very pleased with the finish. Sanding lines were hardly visible after each grit, and I was very pleased with the results. I like using a CAB, and while scocthbrite and abralon stick to the hook-and-loop surface, there is nothing like a disc designed specifically for the CAB.

For those who use (or have used) Jayhawk sanding products, I'm wondering what you might have experienced.

THESE are every bit as good as Abralon.
