Well.... you have low speed and a little rev dominant, so unless you're on oil it'll be too strong of a ball. You probably need to shine it like a marble

I might not have the answer but I always have the shop put step 2 over anything dull from storm if it is too early and that works like a charm. I did that to my critical theory and I think my third set after was 244 300 300..so that's my favorite thing to do lol
In the bag [Infinite Physix, Volatility Torque, Night Road, Phaze III, Burner Solid, Hustle AU]
*Now Testing* IQ Ruby, Renevant, another IQ Tour solid
Coming soon...???

Most of the heavy oil rollers need a coat of polish otherwise they burn out.

Storm website says its finish is a 3000 grit pad. So I'd try 3000 and polish first, then adjust as needed... not strong enough 1000 then polish....too strong 4000 polish....

If it is still too strong look into an extender polish, there are a few on the market. We make UFO, its easy to use.

I just got a CRUX yesterday and tried it out. I have a slower ball speed and more rev dominant like the OP.  OOB, the ball is too strong and needs oil. I had the shop just polish it very lightly, and it did not make much of a difference.  Seemed like the ball was losing it's energy and what ever. So I just took it to my spinner at home and topped it with Factory finish polish.  Nice and shiny. Didn't have time to go and try it today, but I'll post my results when I get a chance to practice.

I usually use 1000 grit when polishing a ball as it seems to get the best results for me.

I tried it today, and this ball, even polished, needs oil.  I could not get a consistent read with this ball today. It was after 2 senior leagues so it was quite a mess out there. That's my excuse anyway.  Need to try it at a different house with fresh oil, but right now, it sits in my bag.
