Title: looking for 800 grit pads
Post by: jeffbassingfool on January 14, 2008, 04:13:46 AM
i recently bought a spinner to resurface my balls and i bought some abralon pads but they do not come in 800 grit and alot of my balls are factory 800 grit. i am trying to locate some 800 grit pads. i read somewhere that scotchbrite has a 800 grit light grey fine hand i think it was called but do not know where they sell these at. i can find the green and blue scotchbrite but not the light grey. any suggestions would be appreciated.
thanks
jeff

I found grey and maroon pads at the local Sherwin Williams paint store.  6x9 sheets, a couple of bucks a piece.  Lowes didn't have 'em, only green.  You can also find higher-grit sandpaper at automotive stores, though I haven't seen Scotchbrite pads there.
