Sun spot
« on: August 26, 2005, 02:34:30 PM »
Has anyone come across a ball with a spot from the sun? The ball is urethane. The spot is not in the track and would a resurface job remove it? Just am wondering if it's there to stay or can it be worked out or is it junk. Thanks for your time.

its called "phasing", it happens quite often. Nothing to worry about. It should go away with time. If not, it probably wont hurt anything.

Try using a bowling ball cleaner on it. That will usually clear it up.
