Ball Maintenance System- Opinions

Saw this site awhile back and thought it was a neat alternative to have when you don't have a ball spinner. Has anyone bought this and what do you think of it?

Not convincing, IMO. While the pad gets goodcontact with the ball, the main pressure will still be directly under the drill axis. You also need a stable cup, if you "drill" from the side you push the ball around and do not get pressure on the surface. Polishing might work, but I see it as a tedious task with this solution.

Personally, I went the other way around: a spinner-like ball cup on top of a hand drill, mounted on a stable bench. This allows sanding/polishing just as on a normal spinner.
