Great mystery of the universe (at least to me....)
« on: December 29, 2004, 04:01:04 AM »
Hope I'm in the right forum for this question....

I've heard two things constantly and experienced both.

1. Ball hooks too much, crosses over, and can't be controlled. The reason? Not enough oil....

2. Ball won't hook at all, hits like mush. The reason? Not enough oil.....

Hmmm...  What's wrong with this picture?

Perhaps using wrong ball for the condition? Or playing the wrong line - or combo of the 2.

Bob, Bingo... That makes perfect sense. I can therefore make the assumption that burning up due to lack of oil in the heads leaves nothing left to react with, while lack to the outside and down provides a dry surface for a ball that still has reaction potential.
Clear as a bell. Many thanks!
