Doc's Elixir
« on: September 18, 2004, 11:20:58 AM »
Thanks to everyone that has bought and used our product both past and present.

Just a reminder to those that haven't taken advantage of our September promotion.

We are now offering a spray top version of the Elixir and will be phasing out the flip top option.

So for the the month of September we are offering the spray top option at $16.00 a bottle and that includes shipping.  For you outside the USA it's only a dollar more per bottle.

You can just go to our website and purchase the flip top option and then under comments post that you want the Ballreviews special.

Oh and if you purchase 3 bottles you get a free Micro fiber towel in blue that contains 20% Polyamide.  I have been using the same towel for over 2 years and it is still in good shape

The price in October will go up to $16.50.  So for you CHEAP bowlers you can save $.50

Hey Doc, does the Elixir lose anything over time? I found a bottle I bought when you first started and applied some to my Sprit. It seemed to work as well as when I bought it but it got me to wondering if I would have to reapply it more often. The Sprit soaked it in so quickly, I wasn't finished with the bottom half when the top half was dry.

Ringing10 - Hey how did you guys finish up the season?  I was out of town on travel and never got back in to see how you guys ended up.

As to the Elixir, It should have a shelf life of several years as long as the cap is on tight.  If it evaporates sometimes it will develop a sediment and some bottles do contain some.  Just shake it real well.  If I remember your Spirit and I remember mine as well it does soak it up rather quickly.  Just a wait about twenty minutes and apply another coat or two.  Then do the oil drop test.

We finished tied for second. I was hoping you would come by, I wanted to thank you for subbing for myself and the rest of the team. I'm bowling in the 1020 Classic on Friday nights, if you drop by I'll buy you the beverage of your choice. I used the Sprit for the first time in a long time last Thursday. Very dry by the third game. The Elixir made cleaning the ball a lot easier, the belt marks just wiped off so I guess 1 year old Elixir is still good. See ya later.
