adjusting the coverstock
« on: April 12, 2009, 06:31:00 AM »
I want to know the difference if I adjust the cover by sanding against the track as opposed to sanding parallel to the track. i am looking for a smoother roll with but still get the ball to hook. What is recommended ?

Don't forget the middle road of using the bowties as the axis around which you sand.  This technique gives you more sanding lines crossing perpendicular to all of the flares.

This is discussed in more detail towards the bottom of this page -
