Guys-I'm pretty new to bowling and still in the learning stage of just about everything.(balls, boards, oil patterns, tweener, ect.

So far I've stuck with balls that have a pearl coverstock, because I've heard it's easier to care for and lasts longer?(don't need a super reactive cover since I play from the far right of the lane into the pocket) However, I'm branching out and trying a particle cover ball, but have heard alot of negatives about them getting "burnt up" and losing there hook. Is there something special I have to apply or clean it with to get a long "pearl cover like" life to it? Thanks in advance for your suggestions-Brian
