Guys-I'm pretty new to bowling and still in the learning stage of just about everything.(balls, boards, oil patterns, tweener, ect. So far I've stuck with balls that have a pearl coverstock, because I've heard it's easier to care for and lasts longer?(don't need a super reactive cover since I play from the far right of the lane into the pocket) However, I'm branching out and trying a particle cover ball, but have heard alot of negatives about them getting "burnt up" and losing there hook. Is there something special I have to apply or clean it with to get a long "pearl cover like" life to it? Thanks in advance for your suggestions-Brian

Bob - The check is in the mail.

Hahaha I have trained you well my son.

BigBZ - Bob is right about how the Elixir help prolong the life of balls.  General cleaning and maintenence go along way in prolonging the life of balls and in your case a particle ball.  They are notorious for picking up grime from the lane and wearing down a ball fast.

One of my users and you can check in another post just recently shot another 300 using a storm trauma response which is a particle and has well over 800 games on it.  If you know anything about this ball it has a way of dyeing out rather quickly.

If you have more questions feel free to message me.
