Title: Pearl Coverstock
Post by: Meat Hook on July 09, 2003, 09:08:31 PM
I love the way my pearl coverstock (Threat)reacts on dry-med. oil lanes, long & sharp  turn on the backends. In heavier oil thought my ball dosnt trun over like I would like. I really want to buy a pearl coverstock ball that will work in heavier oil. Can someone please tell me what ball this is? Thanks

Particle Pearls may be able to cope with some degree of heavy oil.
Possibly WOW Pearl, up to just below true heavy oil.

Plain resin pearls will not be able to cope with true[/] heavy oil.

FYI X-Factor Re-loaded is a matte finish particle pearl. Here's Storm's own coverstock description:
"Coverstock:  Reload3â„¢ Reaction Enhanced Pearl Particle.
 Ball Finish: 1000-grit Matte"
