I have used Neo Tac Foaming Cleaner.  It rates as well as any other alcohol based ball cleaner that is on the approved during bowl.com list.  Because of it's foaming state it stays put well and cleans off well with towel.  I like Neo-Tac products very much.

Thanks for the info. i guess I am thinking a foam cleaner is just a watered down version of a cleaner with an air applicator. Weaker than full strength as far as removing belt marks and such.

When you are paying $2 an oz then foam that stays on the ball makes sense I suppose.  When you are paying $10 a gallon for 91% rubbing alcohol then you don't worry about over coating the ball that much.  Anything that alky misses you get at home with Simple Green that costs about $1.50 a gallon when diluted.  1 & 2 punch as good as the Monster Tac imo I save for my epoxy ball and really big belt marks.
