Particle load vs particle size

Does it make a difference?  That is, which has the larger effect, load or size?

We use percent of total ball weight to determain how much particle we put in a ball.  The range can be from .5% to 25%.

Well that is real informative, that is a crap response IMHO.
Not to mention there has to be some sort of typo there.
I would imagine that he meant up to 25% of the cover weight not the whole ball weight, cause there is no way you could put 4# of particle additive in a ball's cover the RG would be through the roof.

Another answer.....

I also found out that we do not use different size particles (Columbia does).  Even if the particle size changes, the volume for fewer particles would raise the load so load factor is the primary concern.

I would also imagine the weight is of the cover, not whole ball, but, JMO
