All else being equal, which surface prep below would provide more teeth (traction) throughout entire lane?
1. 4000 grit Abralon
2. 500 grit Abralon + polish

Attached an older image which contains a table with examples of different surface finishes................. should be the 500 + polish would have more surface texture

The term, "polish", involves so many human factors that the above chart is virtually useless.

Thx for the chart rkj4243 and thanks charlest for the warning.
This is very helpful.
I tend to opt for a light coat of polish so I think ratios between Ra should hold up.
I guess trial and error will be the best teacher : )
