Mumzie, I also had problems with the X-Factor at first. It seem to get over/under , I took a green pad took the gloss of the ball and that really woke up the ball for me. It gave me a more consistent readable reaction. I hope it helps. By the way I shot 772 last night (279, 245, 248) using my XXXL
