Definitely let us know what you think of it once you try it out, I like hearing your input when it comes to coverstocks. I might just order a package myself this week and just try it out since it's not a regular cleaner (more like a revivor). Maybe use a few wipe for a month and see if there's any results because I did remember from the video and reading about the product that over time it would increase the performance of the ball.

Have not tried them yet. Noticed on the instructions it said do not use a spinner, something about igniting flash fire.

I tried it today on two balls. I never saw any difference in their reaction. I will test further as the lanes had a little more oil today than normal. The laneman decided to clean the pads and service the machine.
I did notice that after using the pad, the ball had a dull finish to it. The pad did turn very black after wiping the balls. I regularly clean them so it must have removed some of the oil retained in the cover.

I don't think you will be able to see a noticeable difference with a single use. I have used them several times on a single ball and have noticed a consistency of reaction.
You might see a "dullish" finish if it is removing oil shine lines from the ball. If they did remove some of the oil shine, you should notice a sense of consistency of reaction with the ball. While I cannot yet recommend them (if that means anything) I do feel quite positive about them so far.
While they are not designed as a cleaner, they do seem do a decent job of cleaning.
It recommended that they be used every 2 - 3 outings or every 6 - 8 or so games. I got that from some of the Ebonite folks (not staffers).
I would recommend using some type of glove when using them. I have some nitrile gloves I use for various tasks (including using Clean and Dull). I don't think the chemical is dangerous (so far) but it is very strong smelling and it is new. So I'd rather be safe than sorry.

I asked about these when I was having my Nuts Pearl drilled. Justin posts here occasionally, maybe he can elaborate. He said that these aren't marketed correctly. Nothing wrong with using them alone, but they aren't really meant to be a "cleaner" by themselves, even though Power House shows them being used this way in their video. The Power House seminar he went to provided a lot more details. He said they are best used as an oil remover to really open up the pores before doing an oil extraction. Apparently Power House has a new oil extraction unit. Functionally it appears to be a dish washer. It's a hot water circulation bath that has some means of removing oil as the water circulates.
