Powerhouse Factory Finish
« on: June 05, 2008, 06:42:53 AM »
Whats the grit number for this polish? I only have the storm step 1, 2, and 3, but not this stuff, and i'd like to re-do the surface on my cherry vibe. Thanks.

You do realize there is no magic "grit" number for any polish. Those are only guesses, and some of them quite wild, by the marketer (notice I didn't say manufacturer)? In some cases, they are potential numbers.

There are so many ways to apply polish, with varying degrees of pressure, time spent on the spinner, amount of polish applied, the coverstock's hardness and initial sanding level, that most "specified" grit numbers on polishes are pure and utter fantasy.
