depends on how you place the weight block up down sideways it only does it when you place the weight block in certain directions gives you a good idea of how strong weights blocks and ball dynamics really are though. When you place your spare ball in i would bet it hardly shakes at all or maybe your spinner is just crap lol

I agree that it does depend how the weight block is turned.  If the pin is straight up, then there is no shaking.

It's the nature of the beast. Why ask why?

I made every mod I could ($50 STURDY table, vibration absorbing materials between spinner and bench, etc., etc.) and it still shook; sold it; bought a Vertex; no more "shaking going on"!

Mine only shakes too much on the fast speed, when it happens, i just switch to the slower speed and no more shaking.

Conical bearings are much more expensive and cannot be made to fit the Donkee without major mods.
SoCalBoomer's homemade spiiner is custom made and have only 400 RPM.

Donkee's have 580 and 850 RPM.

Dimmer switch may not be able to handle the amperes. Suggest instead to change the size of the bowl pulley bigger or the motor pulley smaller to get the bowl speed down to 350 and 650 approx.
