Question for everyone here, outside the fact that of why I have a very finicky daughter!
She just had the concept of wrist positioning click in her head and it has totally changed her game. Add into that the fact that her span has grown and she has outgrown her current ball that we are in the market for a new ball.
She's 10 years old, and going into a 12lb ball. That part is easy. The finicky part? She wants the ball to be GREEN. Yeah.. the least used dominant color in a ball, and she wants it all GREEN. She's coming out of a 10lb Raw Hammer Pearl and she's ready for core to be added to the coverstock.
But with it being green, that would have left me with a Results+, a Trailblazer, or a Web Pearl (unless there are others that are green that I don't know about). The Results+ and the Trailblazer are out, because they only go as light as 14lb, so that leaves me with a Web Pearl. She's ready for a hybrid or a solid, but the green is killing it.
So that leaves me to my question. seeing the 3D Offset has a slight bit of pearl additive added to the cover making it a pearl, would you say that the 500/2000 skip sanding done on the 3D Offset makes it act like a hybrid of a solid? And if so, could that same skip sanding process be used on the Web Pearl to have it react the same way? And would it even be worth it, just to keep the finicky girl happy in staying with a green ball? Or would it just be better off to just put her in a hybrid and be done (and deal with hearing about not having a green ball until her span grows again.. bleh!
)?
Thoughts?
