Has anyone ever sanded a pearlized reactive ball before just to see how it would react on the lanes? I have not attempted this yet but plan on trying it just to see what happens. I know all the stuff like why would you change what the ball was made to do, why not just buy a different ball? A lot of ball companys say you should not sand a reactive ball down but I never read anywhere why you shouldn't. If you are wondering why I brought this up, it's because I used to own a eraser that I bought used and never had it resufaced and most if not all of the polish was gone and one day I thru it on my spinner and resufaced it and put some polish back on it and never did end up getting the reaction out of it that I had before so I scuffed it back up and then got the same reation from it before the resufacing. Is it bad to throw a ball like this? I mean will it hurt the ball? Just trying to get a different reaction from some of my equiptment and thought since this used to work on my old eraser why not try it on one of my present balls. Your comments please.
