Need some insight on this
« on: April 25, 2009, 06:49:32 AM »
I've got a MoRich Awesome Revs drilled 3 1/2 x 5 1/2. Pin about 1 1/2 above ring finger (LH).
Its at 2000 ab w/ polish, and is too much for the short/light patterns, obviously lol.
I'm wondering if there is any way for my driller to sand off some of the particle on the surface with a very low grit take it up in steps to 4000 ab w/ high polish?
Reason for asking is b/c i'm tight on cash as of now and can't purchase a weaker ball. I've got all other holes filled in my arsenal.

Technically, you can't "sand off" the particles, as far as I know. They're embedded in the coverstock.

You can sand the cover to very fine, like 4000 grit Abralon and then apply either a regular polish or a polish that reduces the backend, like Valentino's UFO (or Track Delayed Reaction). They're reduce the overall hook, add lenth and reduce the backend.
