can i use a green scotch brite to make my ball hook a little more.  and if so what is the proper way to use it, like with the track against or what.  Can someone help me.

If your ball is smoother than 600 grit (800-2000 grit), then a green nylon pad, which is generally considered to be the equivalnet of 600 grit sandpaper, will make it rougher. Then the ball will hook earlier than it did previously.
If your ball was polished, then using a green pad on it will roughen the surface to about 600 grit.

When a ball hooks earlier, it will GENERALLY, but not always hook a little more overall.
